Prickly Pair, Les and Locke Hamilton, jokingly call their music 'cutting edge Western.' That may sound humorous but that's exactly what it is! Their unique and refreshing style blends old time fiddle, cowboy tunes, vintage Western (such as Sons of the Pioneers' tunes with yodeling) and folk tunes that trace cowboy music to its Celtic roots. They also perform  original and contemporary material that perpetuates this Americana art form.

As they perform music that speaks of their lifestyle as 'cowfolk' and Rocky Mountain people, they will sing and fiddle their way into your hearts! Their music is all acoustic, family oriented and has audience appeal that ranges from fast-paced and humorous to hauntingly beautiful with historical perspective
