Pony Tracks
2005

Named for a song on the previous release, Lights of Cheyenne, Pony Tracks is the sixth cd for Prickly Pair. Songs include well loved horse tunes such as "The Zebra Dun", "Strawberry Roan", a version of "Stewball" (the race horse) coupled with a Celtic version called "Skewball", the lullaby "All the Pretty Little Horses", and a wonderful Henry Herbert Nibbs poem set to music by our friend Ed Stabler called "Where the Ponies Come to Drink". Recorded at Ben Winship's state-of-the-art studio, the Henhouse in Victor Idaho, Ben performed his mandolin magic as well as bouzouki and bass. Our beloved Don Christensen performs on piano and harmony vocals and Jalan Crosland plays guitar and banjo. Keep an ear out for this one on your local station, It's a humdinger!
