Prickly Pair's second release explores further the scope of Western Cowboy music in its heritage, musical influences and where it's headed in composition today. Again, in an acoustic setting, this recording features 14 cuts with 6 original or co-written tunes. It is a true odyssey of everything from up-tempo swingy numbers, rapid Rocky Mountain flavored bluegrass (which Prickly Pair has dubbed, 'Buffalograss'!) and Celtic jigs to haunting ballads and fiddle waltzes reminiscent of grange hall dances.
